Every 2nd Tuesday of the month, Capitol Hill has an Artwalk - Apparently it hasn't been very lively or well-advertised in the past, but a wonderful group of organizers are now changing that! Anna Lange, owner of the Pretty Parlor, and I will be taking part in this monthly event by hosting art and clothing events at her colorful & cozy boutique on the hill...
The first one we're doing is already NEXT WEEK! Joe-Vollan, an incredible local artist who specializes in graphic, vivid paintings of mechanical creatures (often in surreal, post-apocalyptic landscapes), shows a more organic side with images of birds & foliage, both realistic and modified. If you've been to King Cobra, then you've surely seen his large-scale mural that goes along the entire downstairs bar-side of the club. AMAZING!
There will also be a Trunk Show with clothing by Kombat Glamour, and RiZE drinks will be served!
